During this class participants will focus on having fun with their materials and work to create a unique piece of art that is more about the process than the final piece. An idea of basic drawing techniques and skills is recommended as well as a love for drawing. Supplies will be provided, but participants should come with at least four reference images: including 2 different subjects and 2 different textures. 

We will be playing with paint and charcoal in this class and there's a chance it could get quite messy, please dress accordingly.

See event documents for a sample of reference images. You can choose any subject matter you desire, 2-3 images of each subject and texture would be great, but at least one will do. In the sample you can see my two subjects are Reindeer and Sleigh bells and my two textures are ribbon and snow. I prefer to print in black and white since we will not be working in color.
