Event Description

Cow-calf operations are the backbone of the beef industry. This series of classes is designed as a refresher for current cow-calf operators or a new farmer to the beef industry. Each class will cover a specific topic and those who complete all classes may be eligible to receive a year's subscription to a record keeping system created specifically for Kentucky farmers. All classes start at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and program immediately follows at 7:00 p.m. 

Class location will alternate between Kenton County and Grant County Extension offices. Monday, 11/28 - The Bull, Kenton County Wednesday, 11/30 - The Cow, Grant County Monday, 12/5 - Managing Forages, Kenton County Wednesday, 12/7 - The Calf, Grant County Wednesday, 12/14 - The Heifer, Kenton County Monday, 1/9 - X10D Record Keeping, Kenton County
